On December 13,1997, on my way up the George Washington Parkway to visit my mother, I stopped at the Lady Bird Johnson Park on the Virginia side of the Potomac River. The day was sunny and calm with reflections on the river. I took five pictures of the Washington Monument and river banks with my Olympus D-300L Digital Camera at 1024x768 resolution. I then stitched the five jpeg images together into a panorama with Live Picture's PhotoVista. The result is a 1.9MB jpeg image with 3360x800 resolution. The panorama is viewed with a small Java applet and the Live Picture viewer plug-in.
